Alexander Granados Communication is a valuable and critical strategy in our daily lives. As humans being, we must communicate with one another to pass a different point of view of information regarding many things that may be of interest. If communication didn’t exist we wouldn’t know how to understand the messages of other individuals. I believe that this class has made me realize how important it exchanges words in return for information with other people. As an example, I am a very open person, but I will and must say that communicating with other people is quite a challenge at first, especially those who do not know to have a conversation with others individuals. Having a project like this one was relatively nothing new all due to past experience in high school having to present to others in class or online. Nevertheless, I learned in addition that while communicating is critical, working together is also very important because it increases work performance and improves your overal

Isabella Sanchez Why Communication Is Important: 👇       Everyone's daily life revolves around communication, thus learning the many forms of communication is helpful. I hated public speaking and was quite shy before enrolling in my speech class. I now feel more comfortable expressing myself after witnessing everyone else's presentations and learning about the various components of communication. Additionally, I think that many students were able to communicate more freely as a result of the presentations. I'm eager to see how much this class will help me overcome my shyness and, hopefully, keep giving me the self-assurance to speak up without fear.  Communication is shared through many different ways  The study of communication between people from varied social and cultural backgrounds, as well as how culture affects communication, is known as intercultural communication. A crucial aspect of being human is communication, which is also a basic social requirement. Since man

Joseph Padron                                                        The Importance of Communication               Before, I even started to speak about the presentations individually and state what I enjoyed about each of them I wanted to talk about communication. Every presentation we did had different topics although we had one thing in common we all spoke in some way shape or form about communication. Through the three presentations, I learned various things about communication and its importance in everyday life. Communication is very essential as it is our way to learn how to express ourselves and explain things to others effective communication is a key to success in whatever you do in life. Although at first, I did not know what to expect from this class as we have begun to learn about the importance of communication and all the little things that go into learning and practicing communication. I now see why it is important to learn and is something that will be useful for all

Jose Escobedo      As our society is moving towards a more globalized world, proper communication is more important than ever. In my opinion, being able to deal with people from all cultures and backgrounds has become important, and this means being able to communicate effectively across different cultures as well as cooperate in groups and problem solve together.     It is for these reasons why I hope to learn as much as I can from my introduction to speech and communication class, where it can help teach me a lot about how to properly express my view points to other people and to be effective as part of a larger group towards reaching our goals together. Three groups in our class created some excellent presentations and I really feel that I learned a lot from it. Chapter 3 - Intercultural Communication    Different cultures may have different languages which may present barriers.      The chapter 3 presentation dealt with inter-cultural communication, an important part of our ever-i

Chapter 3, 9 and 10 presentations Manuela Delgado I learned from this presentation many things that introduced me to Intercultural Communication , Groups and Leadership .I was able to see the forming of a group in the student culture on the now ongoing Fall semester at Miami Dade College and be able to discuss how the use of Virtual Group unite students from different ethnic backgrounds. In the presentation gives us the opportunity to experience how Technology plays a leader role in this subjects and in other general aspects of our student  lives. Being able to share with new students who showed interest in completing the group project and how they were engaged, attentive , collaborative and responsive throughout the developments of the presentations shows their interest in the topics of this presentation. Interest is one of the foundations of Intercultural Communications . Families , work teams , and social groups all should be able to share common interests and values. The study of

Chapter Review 3, 9, and 10

Communication is necessary for our day to day lives. You communicate with people everyday either verbally or non- verbally. Without it, we would be lost as to what we want from each other. Communication can also help improve your relationships. It is important to share your thoughts, feelings, and emotions. If you do not then you can potentially put your relationships at risk. As I am sure you have heard before “communication is key in your relationships”.  As I began to learn more about communication I had the opportunity to sit in and listen to three presentations my classmates put together. The first presentation I saw was presented by Group one. They did their presentation based on Chapter 3: Intercultural Communications. They started off by talking about “what is culture?” I found that interesting because there is more than one culture. More things to learn and be informed on. Culture is important in communication because it is shared and learned. With the exchange of goods and
